2.) Worry some more over how badly you did and wonder if you'll get in - check
3.) Check the bulletin board compulsively for callback lists - check
4.) Make idiot bet with Weesha over whether I'll get a callback or not - check
5.) Hear rumor that show is Grease (or RENT) - check
6.) Spread rumor that show is Grease (not RENT) - check
7.) Find out that show really is Grease - check
8.) Kick self for not attending dance auditions - check
9.) Find out that callbacks have been up for a week and that no one told you - check
10.) Win the bet and write I Love (Vampire KenKen) because your name isn't on the callbacks and she lost the bet - check
11.) Worry and wait for the cast list to go up - check
12.) Make another bet with Weesha about whether you'll get a part or not - check
13.) Gossip about who you think will get lead parts with Jacquie and Shiloh (theater fiends extraordinaire) - check
14.) Cast List Goes Up!!! - check
15.) Get an ensemble part (Rydell High Cheerleader) - check
16.) Get to draw on Weesha's face again becuase she lost the second bet, too - check
17.) Realize that you're the only senior who didn't get even a tiny speaking part - oh crap
Cast list went up yesterday!! Consensus is that it sucks because a lot of juniors got lead parts when seniors didn't, but I think that my friends are just saying that to make me feel better. I know what it's like to be the better junior on the team who gets passed by because of seniority. (tennis last year) But I refuse to complain. I am going to be the best damn cheerleader I can be. It totally suits my cheery personality. Maija and I already made up a cheerleader handshake.
Can't wait 'til we get our schedule and all the fun starts rolling. I hope I'll get to see my friends even though they're all speaking parts. I wanna know what scenes I'm in and the songs and I can't wait for costumes and makeup and hair and blocking and everything!!!!
